On Wednesday, Israel and Russia signed a memorandum of understanding that will see the two countries cooperate on internal security matters.
The signed agreement covers numerous areas of possible cooperation including working together in the fight against violent and financial crime, terror and terror financing, weapons trafficking as well as various other areas of security.
The Israeli Minister of Internal Security, Amir Ohana said: “This is a significant diplomatic achievement that will lead to increased personal security for the citizens of both Israel and Russia. This will strengthen the ties that exist between the countries.”
According to Minister Ohana the agreement took years of planning, effort, and discussions in order to bear fruit. Ohana thanked his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, for his efforts in making the agreement a reality.

“working together in the fight against violent and financial crime, terror and terror financing, weapons trafficking”? Is sthe treaty for or against these things? Russia regularly murders poilitical opponents, invades countries, supplies terror states with weapons (as does Israel). Is this meant to be a victory for justice or a deal with the devil. And before your esponsd that the world is a gdangerous place and point fingeres at other countries who do the same, think of this: Are we acting appropriately as Jews by supporting Vladamir Putin as he tortures his opponent (Navalny) in a prison on fake charges after trying and failing to poison him? Is this our partner in the world? Should we be begging the Crown Prince of SA to establish ties with Israel, even as he sends hit squads to Turkey to murder journalists for the Washington Post? Should we bow down to a would-be-dictator who tried to overthrow American democracy? How low have we sunk? Who are our friends? Why do these monsters love us and relate so well to us?
