I am *not* a stickler with Covid. I was among the first to sign up to return to indoor minyanim when it became available again, I’ve traveled, I’ve returned my children to in-person school learning the moment it became an available option. On YWN we are seeing message after message about Purim/Covid safely, messages from Hatzalah about social distancing and masks, Daas Torah telling us to avoid Shaloch Manos and collecting for tzedaka, emails from yeshivas about having the seudah only among nuclear family members but I’d sincerely like to know what I’m missing from the pictures above? It’s confusing, disappointing, and arguably misleading to many in the frum communities who are advised (by Rabbonim and medical professionals) to practice one thing, but the picture says another. Maybe it’s a photo from years ago?
Is there a reason that not a single person there is wearing a mask??
Purim Same’ach,
