Israel Police will be out in large numbers during Shavuos, with an emphasis on areas attracting large numbers of people, including the Kosel. There will also be an increased police presence in the streets of the Old City in Yerushalayim.
A closure was clamped on Yehuda and Shomron at midnight, and it will continue until after Shavuos. PA residents during the closure time period are prohibited from crossing the Green Line into “Israel proper”. Exceptions are made in cases of humanitarian need.
