A closure on Palestinian Authority residents of Yehuda and Shomron was implemented at midnight and it will continue until after Shavuos. The move is seen as a precautionary one in the hope of preventing a terror attack over Yomtov.

Exceptions to the closure are made in cases of humanitarian need, in which PA residents are permitted to cross the Green Line into pre-1967 Israel.
