While I don’t think that’s true (Biden was not elected by the votes of Democrat jews), it’s hard to say this wasn’t expected. It’s no secret that Israel was dreading a Biden administration.

True, and All DemonCrats. But Biden can’t comprehend that. He’s too old to learn New things.
Trump showed the World that you don’t need the Palestinians to make peace in the Middle East.

The Arabs that live in Gaza and the West Bank aren’t interested in Peace.
They showed the World, time after time, year after year, that they are just like Hezbollah and Iran!

We have the Oslo Accords in 1990 with Arafat but later Ehud Barack wanted to give him everything but the kitchen sink and he refused to make peace.

Oslo Accords were terrible. It wasn’t 1990 was done under Bill Clinton. Right after Oslo there was a bus bombing. The people in Israel had enough and you know what happened to Rabin.

    In other news, Mr. Biden

    – reversed Suleimani assassination as unlawful with the help of a mekubal

    – restored diplomatic relations with ISIS and send an ambassador to Raqqah. The embassy is under construction given the disaster that previous administration “literally left us nothing and nobody to work with at Raqqah”.

    – the new ambassador will not refer to IS as “Islamic” though. We did not decide yet what the new meaning of “IS” is

    – all progressive House members are told that they’ll be send as an ambassador to Raqqah if they do not behave

Here is where Biden is essentially a third term for Obama y”sh (who actually stated that he would wish for this). People said about Obama that there was never a terrorist that he didn’t like. Truth is, there was never a terrorist he did not seek to support and fund. Anyone with an iota of sense knows that aid to Palestinians will not result in even a morsel of food for starving Palis. The building supplies will not end up providing them with homes and shelters. Every dime and every molecule will support terror efforts. We all know this. It is not conjecture or paranoia. It is fact that they have proven countless times over the past several decades. Well, Obama knew this, too, and began his first term with apologizing for supporting efforts to eliminate terror. Now, he gets his third term, and Biden is beginning it by once again providing everything the terrorists need to harm Israelis. I daven for Biden’s demise and oust from power daily. Him and the rest of the evil supporters of terror.

Not endorsing Biden’s plan or anything, but I would like to ask a question for everyone here. What’s Israel’s endgame?

I mean it makes sense to say that you can’t negotiate with terrorists, but it also makes no sense to keep the West Bank in a state of permanent limbo. Do you want the West Bank to be completely part of Israel and give all of its residents citizenship? Or do you want to give the whole thing back to Jordan? There has to be some sort of plan, right? We can’t just keep pretending that everything is fine just as long as the terrorism is kept to a minimum.

Sorry to sound so much like a smolani, but it just bothers me that no one seems to be thinking long term about what needs to happen.

I personally feel that they should have kept WB & Gaza the way it was before.
But unfortunately Israel is run by Non- religious Jews.
So Israel should treat the WB and Gaza, like they treat Syria and Iran.
This Liberal attitude of – you have to deal with these Palestinians in order to make Peace is Stupid!

    Yserbius123,

trump stopping US and UN aid to the palestinians without having a plan to resolve the issues between Israel and the p.a. was never a long term solution.

It was a one sided course of action that removed America as an objective third party in negotiations.

It was consistent with all of trump’s interactions in the world theatre. There were never any long term solutions. It was all a show and a slogan.

While the ‘endgame’ is huge political discussion, Israel is mostly fine with the status-quo. The problem is the Palestinians who can’t stop whining and pull themselves together. Remember, the Palestinians are actually about seven distinct tribes, some of which hate each other and would not get along if they had a state.

”trump stopping US and UN aid to the palestinians without having a plan to resolve the issues between Israel and the p.a. was never a long term solution.”
Stopping aid was not a ‘solution’, it was a correction to the idea that lining PA officials pockets with cash will help the Palestinians. These guys pay families of terrorists, teach young children to hate Jews and spread lies about Israel to the West among other things. Do you trust them with your tax dollars?

”It was a one sided course of action that removed America as an objective third party in negotiations.”
What negotiations? The Palestinians refuse to negotiate!

Youre post is in a word
    Ridiculous

    a) Trump had an actual peace plan between the Isrealis and Palestinians, the Isrealis accepted it, the Palestinians rejected it.

    b) Negotiating a “warm” peace between Isreal and 4 Arab countries is not just “show”

    c) Changing the dynamics in the Mideast so that the Palestinians realize they cannot hold up peace in the entire region is not just show, rather it is a negotiating tactic whereby the Palestinans leverage is reduced forcing them to come to the table, something they have refused to do in the past.

What’s “before”? When they were Jordan and Egypt? I guess I can sort of get behind that, provided there were adequate security measures in place and Yerushalayim was still in Israel.

That’s my problem. The status-quo stinks and I don’t think Israel is fine with it. The status-quo means that the West Bank and Gaza are in a state of limbo, not part of Israel but not part of another state either. And I don’t think it’s unreasonable for the Palestinians to keep whining as long as they are stuck like that. Israel should have a plan as to what to do as soon as we can get a decent Palestinian non-terrorist leadership. But they don’t have a plan.

    Before the Oslo agreement.
Btw, a lot of Middle East countries were created by the Western World.
But I’ve posted years ago – the western world created a lot of problems with the Jews in the Middle East.
During the time of the Ottoman empire – I don’t know any widespread animosity between Jew and Arab!

    1. The Palestinians are not whining because of the limo, they’re whining for ‘From the Jordan to the sea Palestine will be free’

2.yes status-quo kinda stinks, but Israel can live with it, as it has for years, and most alternatives are worse.

there is a p0ositive here: if they have some wisdom, they know what did not work! They might first use “lessons learned” in how to fight their biggest enemy – Republicans, but BEzrat Hashem, they also see positive changes in foreign policy. Other than position on Iran, they seem to indicate that they’ll keep many of successful Trump’s policy, adding more “cooperation” to enhance taste – pressing Germany on Russian pipelines, tariffs on China, (real) defense restructuring towards Asia

    Ben Levi,

A peace plan written on a piece of paper and actually working on bringing it about are 2 totally different things. I also have a peace plan in my drawer. There was no plan to bring peace.

Does the US only have dealing with the arab countries connected to Israel or is there a big world with 195 countries ? I was referring to NK, Russia, Ukraine, Syria, The Kurds , Turkey, Mexico, Canada , NATO countries, The EU ….

    Made Aliyah,

I understand the situation as well as anybody else.

Did the families of terrorists stop getting paid? No.
Did they stop teach young children to hate Jews and spread lies about Israel to the West among other things? No.
Do you trust them with your tax dollars? No.
What negotiations? The Palestinians refuse to negotiate! Correct . Watch under the Biden administration they will come back to the negotiating table. (Magic)

Racism and Slavery were really great to the white slave owners in the 1800’s in the US. They were very happy with the status quo. Does that make it a situation that can be conveniently ignored?

The fact is Israel is not happy with the status quo. Due to the palestinians, they need to have compulsory military service of all youth between 18 and 21. They need to go to war against Gaza every few years. There is always fear of another intifada. There is always fear from the underground tunnels of another terrorist attack. They need to go into arab villages and risk their lives to destroy terrorists houses. They are criticized constantly in the in the UN and international community because of the situation.

    Shalom al Yisroel,
The squad have had no effect on the Biden’s administration relations with Israel.
Biden was VP way before they were in office and he has a complete understanding of the situation and how to deal with it. You disagree on how he wants to deal with it.
I should have used the words impartial and unbiased over the word objective.

We should stop magnifying the power that the squad have because the republicans now have 2 confirmed anti semitic meshuggana trump supporters of their own in congress.

The Republicans are more interested in fundraising off the stupid statements the Squad makes than they are about doing anything effective to counter the nonsense. But it should be noted that one of the Squad members, Ayanna Pressley, doesn’t hate Israel. She voted to condemn BDS.

If Palestinians support terrorism, You don’t support them, period. Nobody thought they would stop.

”Racism and Slavery were really great to the white slave owners in the 1800’s in the US. They were very happy with the status quo. Does that make it a situation that can be conveniently ignored?”
Are you calling Israeli’s slave owners? I don’t see any comparison.

”The fact is Israel is not happy with the status quo. Due to the palestinians, they need to have compulsory military service of all youth between 18 and 21.”
Due to the Palestinians? Does Israel have no other enemies? Are you serious?

”There is always fear of another intifada. There is always fear from the underground tunnels of another terrorist attack. They need to go into arab villages and risk their lives to destroy terrorists houses. They are criticized constantly in the in the UN and international community because of the situation.”
All this is likely to get worse if they have a state, only it will be harder for the Israelis to monitor and defend. Look at Gaza for reference.

”Biden was VP way before they were in office and he has a complete understanding of the situation and how to deal with it.”
But he loves Palestinians too much to let facts get in the way.

The overblown myth of “pro-palestinian” stand…

There is anti-Israelism and then there sympathy to Israel’s plight (the struggling to survive island) .

Unfortunately the largest percentage of crowd waving the flag of being “pro palestinians” is really in essence bigotry, intolerance to wards Israel.. it’s also what connects neo nazis and militant Arab “activists”.

A very small percentage really “aches” for the Arab palestinians.

BTW, on the phenomenon of some Jews not wotking to benefit brethern.. here is an earlier sample about this COMPLEX.

    Jewish Virual Library:

Morgenthau Commission was a U.S. commission from July to September 1919, headed by Henry Morgenthau Sr., to investigate the situation of the Polish Jews after the pogroms which took place in Poland at the end of World War I…
Because of his delicate position as a Jew, Morgenthau made a point of appearing objective and was inclined to justify the Poles as much as possible.

    #1944959

    >> Pogroms in Poland

According to Wiki, President Wilson sent the commission to help clear up Jewish-Polish relations in order to strengthen Polish role against Soviets. At the same time, both Germany and USSR spent remaining time until they started WW2 accusing all newly created Eastern European countries of oppressing minorities (Jews, Germans, Russians, and others) – while totally destroying Jewish communities themselves. With that perspective, Morgenthau Sr performed great

    #1945271

    Shalom,
I did not research Ford-Morgenthau, but overlooking Poland’s faults in 1920s to stand to Soviets makes a lot of sense to me. There were a lot of very sincere Jewish politicians who were fighting Polish and Baltic governments disregarding Soviet/German threats. If you have specific problems with M report, please tell us. I think the report is somewhere online.

There is a book published in 1960s in Israel by surviving Jewish politicians from Latvia who admit and lament their errors. One episode – USSR, Germany, all minority parties used League of Nations Charter to criticize those governments on their treatment of minorities. (League created these states after WW1). When Nazis came to power, some Jewish organization tried to go to the League, and the response was – sorry, we do not have German Jews registered as a minority, so we are not going to protect them.
