The lower level of the George Washington Bridge will be closed from midnight tonight until 10 a.m. Sunday – for walkers, runners and bikers participating in an American Cancer Society event. Approximately 1,500 people are expected to participate in the charity’s initiative, which begins at 7 a.m. Sunday.

Officials with the PAPD told YWN that the bridge’s upper level will remain open during those hours, but they cautioned that delays are possible.
