President Trump railed against impeachment as a continued “witch hunt” and called for “no violence” in his first public remarks to reporters after the insurrection he incited at the US Capitol last week.
One day before House lawmakers are expected to vote to impeach him for the second time, Trump called the process “dangerous” and said it is causing “tremendous anger.”
“On the impeachment, it’s really a continuation of the greatest witch hunt in the history of politics. It’s ridiculous, it’s absolutely ridiculous. This impeachment is causing tremendous anger, and you’re doing it and it’s really a terrible thing that they’re doing,” he told reporters on the White House South Lawn Tuesday morning.
Trump continued, “For Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to continue on this path, I think it’s causing tremendous danger to our country, and it’s causing tremendous anger. I want no violence.”
Trump said his suspension from social media platforms was causing “anger” and that he continues to enjoy “tremendous support.”
“I think that big tech is doing a horrible thing for our country and to our country,” he told reporters before boarding Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.
“I think it’s going to be a catastrophic mistake for them.”

Hard for Gedolahadora to concede that even his midos are rotten his job performance was great for Americans. Businesses prospered, American productivity at an all time high, jobless down to a minimum, help for Jews and Israel at an all time high. And not to overlook three judicial installations that hopefully will shape this warped government for a long time unless Demo-rats stack the court. He did a great job and truly loves America.

people like Gadol call our President all the bad names, without any facts, and still enjoy freedom of speech. Pelosi called Trump a dangerous man who must be removed. Don’t you think these words are any less serious for violence against the President that he said at the protest and maybe some people may get it ” a hidden message” (what they said about Trump) a call to kill the President. Actually, this way they can make sure he does not get elected again for sure. Where is the proof that all the people who stormed the capitol are right wing terrorists or so called white supremacists’? So far I only heard about some nut cases (they are many in left wing protests too) and some former Army people who got very upset about the election. Democrats keep saying 5 people were killed, but in fact 3 died for a health reasons (which can happen at any large gatherings) 1 was killed by a police, and 1 cop who died not at the scene, later and they claim from the injuries he got during the riot. They almost attempted to blame Trump for second cop’s death, but that later was proved to be a suicide. I guess they can identify everyone who was there that day, and if any of them will die from Covid in the next few month Democrats can add the numbers to the Trump’s victims list. Regarding the last impeachment, no one should seriously take the Pelosi & team, who were trying to get of rid of Trump from even before he was President, so should just shut up. You see when BLM & so called peaceful protesters were burning down business, police precincts, federal buildings, private house of white people, and even church in Washington DC, and even tried to storm White House, but failed, they Democrats did not care much, but when their lives were slightly endangered they got so brave to punish people who mostly would not cause them any harm, maybe couple verbal attacks (without mask, maybe a crime these days). Gadol & Co enjoy your double standard and I hope you will notice every single bad thing Biden does next 4 years as well as you were watching Trump.

I won’t even try to explain why some of us feel that Trump is–and will continue to be– an existential threat to our country, notwithstanding moving a brass plaque on building from Tel Aviv to Yerushalayim and arranging some “peace agreements” with several Arab countries which may or may not yield long-term benefits to EY. Likewise, if you believe the best metric of the economy is the DJ average (when over 50% of Americans have zero investments and struggling to hang on) and income disparities are at an all-time high, I won’t bother litigating the issue again. Alexfromny the only person Trump loves is Trump. Everything is transactional. He can’t love white nationalist, entertain them at the white house and love Jews at the same time. By the way, if anyone is interested in looking up that amazing quote (above) from the Mesillas Yesharim, I believe it can be found towards the end of Perek Yud Tes. [I can’t confirm right now because I’m in bidud here recovering (hopefully) from Covid (which I was exposed to only a few days after my first vaccine shot) and, I am embarrassed to say, I don’t own a Mesillas Yesharim.] You may recognize the words as there is a beautiful song on one of Yehuda!’s albums (with The Melech, R’ Abie Rotenberg) using the quote; I actually first heard the words when listening to the song a bunch of years ago.
Additionally, just for accuracy’s sake, I’ll mention that I believe it is possible that the first words of the quote should be translated as “Hakadosh Baruch Hu is not ‘a lover’ of anyone who does not…” instead of “Hakadosh Baruch Hu does not ‘love’ anyone who does not….” I think the standard translations follow the way I originally translated it above — tzarich Iyun… But go take a look; it’s a beautiful piece.
