During a Bayit Yehudi faction meeting last week, MKs Yoni Chetboun and Moti Yogev called for the establishment of a party Moetzas Gedolei Yisrael similar to the rabbinical bodies that oversee the chareidi parties.
Deputy Minister of Religious Services Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan has added his name to the list, supporting the establishment of a rabbinical body. Ben-Dahan made his remarks during an interview with Galei Yisrael Radio.
Ben-Dahan added that at present, the party has not discussed the matter in a closed meeting but he feels a rabbinical committee would be advantageous and a step in the correct direction.

they would have to LISTEN to this moetzes
Rav Lichtenstein needs to be a member for the body to have credibility.
#2- Harav Lichtenstein would most likely refuse and not support the founding of such a body.
what gedolim who r we kidding?
Agree with 2–Having HaRav Lichtenstein’s presence would be a crucial step towards such a body’s viability. May this be a positive step forward in making clear to the yeshivish world how central Torah is to true Religious Zionism, and as such, how much we have in common.
