Jerusalem city inspectors on erev Shabbos 18 Cheshvan 5774 apprehended chareidi election activists in Sanhedria and Bayit Vegan as they were pasting election posters illegally. Their vehicles were impounded along with election materials.
The inspectors explain they were pasting election posters indiscriminately without regard for regulations governing the placement of such posters. The teams in both areas of the capital were apprehended in the act by the undercover inspectors. Charges will be filed against the violators as well as the political party they represent.
The city has been using paint clothed inspectors ahead of the election in the hope of apprehending law breakers.

You should mention the context. The inspectors work for the city government, led by a mayor. The posters were supporting the opposition. This is probably not a coincidence.
“Paint clothed inspectors!”
Now THAT is a fantastic idea. Their paint will obviously ensure they are undetected. Question: are their faces painted to match?
Note to editor: Yoo-hoo, anybody ho-o–me?
“as they were pasting election posters”.
