Tov party founder and leader Chanoch Werdiger has announced that the Amshinover Rebbe Shlita has been guiding every step of his actions since launching the party. He now announces that the rebbe has not given him permission to publicize the rebbe’s involvement and pivotal role in Tov’s operations.

Werdiger has repeated over recent months stated that he consults with rabbonim but never revealed a name, leaving him vulnerable to attack from the tzibur. Now, just days ahead of Election Day, Werdiger announces that the Amshinover Rebbe Shlita guides his hand. Werdiger explains the rebbe spoke with him shortly before Shabbos and permitted him to reveal his name.

Werdiger made the announcement during an interview with Moti Lavi on Kol Berama Radio on Sunday, 16 Cheshvan 5774, just two days ahead of Election Day. When asked if the rebbe is his guide in his private life as well, Werdiger declined to comment.
