Hundreds of thousands of Covid-19 Coronavirus vaccines have already landed in Israel, millions more are expected to arrive by the end of the month. On the streets of Charedi communities, debates rage as to whether or not to get vaccinated. According to reports in both Kikar HaShabbat and BChadrei Charedim, the arguments within the Charedi community supporting the idea to not receive the vaccination is growing stronger.
According to reports in the Israeli media, many people have begun approaching their rabbis in order to hear what Da’as Torah has to say with regard to the vaccination. One of the highest-ranking medical Askanim, Rabbi Elimelech Firer asked the Gedolei Hador what their opinion was and received a resounding unified response instructing people to go out and get vaccinated against the disease that has already claimed the lives of 3,000 people in Israel, and more than 1.6 million around the globe.
In a letter that will be published in mainstream Israel media tomorrow, Rabbi Firer writes: “To the many multitudes of people who have asked, after having been asked by the Gedolei Hador to inquire with regard to the vaccination against the Coronavirus, and after I investigated and thoroughly checked the issue with the due attention that it required, I explained my conclusion before Rabbi Shalom Cohen, Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, and Rabbi Gershon Edelshtein, I have been instructed to inform you of their response and to do so in their name. Anyone who has the ability and is able to take the vaccine should do so. (From all of the testing done, and based on all of the acceptable parameters in the field of medicine, it has been proven that there is no danger in taking the vaccine.)”
Rabbi Firer added, “anyone who suffers from allergies of any kind should consult with a doctor with regard to how best to take the vaccine and do so under medical supervision. Due to the fact that all of the testing has been done on people over the age of 16, children under that age are being asked to wait until proper testing on the vaccine has been undertaken on children as well.”

It is a shame that gedolei yisroel need to state the obvious – that the oilom haTorah should follow expert medical advice as stated in Torah.
The need was created by FAKE Kol Korehs, with fraudulent signatures of HaRav Komenetzkyand others!
Sadly, one Rosh Yeshiva who is an anti-vaxxer (ala measles) has encouraged the gang of the Kol Koreh to spread false information among Yidden, which can severely harm them, by claiming that “Daas Torah” is against the vaccine. He cannot say that his hands shave not spilled blood if c”v someone follows his advice and leaves a widow and orphans r”l.
This type of fake-Kol Koreh with unauthorized signatures has become a repeated behavior, a minhag of a shor mu-od. This is not the first fake Kol Koreh nor will it be the last.
It undermines all Kol Koreh, because just as this one was faked, all others become suspect.
It means that the authors were NOT the gedolim but rather a group of baryonim that seek to further their agenda by USING gedolim as their weapons! Gedolim are not tools! Using them as tools id the opposite of kovod haTorah.
But one must also wonder why the remaining gedolim would allow their name to be used once they are aware of the fraud?!
If the Kol Koreh is partially fraudulent, ALL the remaining must disassociate themselves from it!!! DO not remain in Adas Korach! Do not be associated with the meraglim!
Separate yourselves from sheker and tumah or be known as facilitators!
This is a shanda. A shanda on the publishers of this Kol Koreh and a shanda on the Rabbonim that do not remove their support of these evil people.
Call out the organizers of the Kol Koreh -put them in cherem, and make an example out of them, that lo yorum ish yado to replicate such a shanda which undermines the heart of Torah leadership.

He did not say that children under the age of 16 are being asked to wait. He said that children under 16 who want to wait are allowed to do so.

The CDC themselves say that it does not stop transmission only reduces symptoms. So what will it help grandma or the vulnerable person if I go and get the vaccine. I am not scared of the illness just doing it for others does not make sense anymore.
This is reliable. The average Kol Koreh that gets posted around our frum neighborhoods has a sad track record for credibility. Asking your own posek is a requirement, regardless of whatever signs get posted on our streets. We have seen forgeries, and we have seen falsehoods perpetrated on rabbonim to sign. While the signatures might have been genuine, the lies and the coercion were unforgiveable. I would be happier knowing that those responsible for damaging the credibility of our poskim, rabbonim, and gedolim are identified for the public and are brought to justice.
The under 16 years old demographic is probably the majority of the Frum population. They are also probably the ones with the most potential to spread this disease due to socialization.
Mass vaccination of everyone 16 and above is great and indeed critical but we won’t achieve herd immunity if the kids are left out!

These vaccines have been documented by the US government as, at best, all only being capable to treat superficial symptoms, nothing more. Additionally, all involved have complete exoneration from damages. Significant side effects have been reported with each one, and this is only after short-term trials. These reports are typically ‘poo-pooed’ and reported as mostly irrelevant by the mainstream media. Essentially, the better theory says the truer problem with this illness is that it is caused by irradiation of the world by EMFs, more than any time in world history. Telecom have a big share in mainstream media, and don’t want this perspective given much credence. There is also a tremendous profitability in patent money particularly for every vaccine injected. You’ve no doubt heard many of the big names of who owns patent rights in several of these, and these are politically relevant people. B’h at least some of the gedolim can see through a significant amount of this vanity that is now infiltrating the world and not recommending it.
Just about half of the US doesnt want to take the vaccine…so it seems like the “majority” is starting to see through things. If we told to vaccinate because we go by the majority, well things are beginning to shift. Time to reevaluate?
Hope this virus doesnt mutate w a vaccine. People wouldn’t die from covid if the AMA allowed drs to be taught about herbs that work on this such as artemisinin, rosemary, and ivermectin and melatonin work on it and well….theres suppression of info. For real tools, we all saw it with WHO.
