Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is currently in Washington, in what most likely will be his last stay as a state official in the Blair House. Olmert will meet with President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. On the agenda will be the Iranian nuclear threat, Syria, Hizbullah and Hamas/Gaza.

In talks with the president, Olmert will be seeking approval for an impressive military package, including state-of-the-art stealth fighters and other advanced weaponry to enable Israel to maintain her military superiority in the region.

Olmert will also be meeting with the candidates running for the US presidency.
