Senior Hamas official Khalid Meshal, who spoke in Turkey, calls for an urgent Arab summit to map out a national strategy against the “Judaization of Jerusalem and the harmful [Israeli] actions against al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Meshal explained to participants in the summit the ongoing talks between Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) only serve to increase the perilous situation vis-à-vis the mosque, citing there is no Arab leader who has the right to compromise when it comes to Jerusalem. He emphasized the need to build a large army capable of liberating Jerusalem.
