1:35PM IL: Another Kassam rocket slammed down in the Greater Sderot Area a short time ago. The rocket landed in a kibbutz in the Eshkol Regional Council region.
One person is being treated for shrapnel injuries to the head, apparently in light condition. Two others are being treated for very light injuries and hysteria. Additional information will be provided if necessary.
1:43PM IL: Emergency medical personnel are reporting that three rockets were fired in the last wave, with two landing in an open area. The third led to injuries.
One victim is now described in light-to-moderate condition with shrapnel injuries to his head and the other two, in light condition with shrapnel injuries.
1:55pm IL: Magen David Adom emergency medical service officials are now reporting five injured in the last Kassam rocket attack, including a Thai worker who sustained shrapnel injuries to his head. All the wounded are being treated for shrapnel injuries.
2:11PM IL: A total of 5 Kassam rockets landed in the Eshkol Regional Council, with one striking Moshav Yesha, injuring two Thai workers and three Israelis. All of the injured are listed in light and light-to-moderate condition.
On May 12, 2008, 69-year-old Shuli Katz was killed when a rocket slammed into the Moshav. On May 9, 2008, area resident Jimmy Kedoshim was killed when a rocket landed in Kfar Aza. (Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)
