10:55am IL: An IDF soldier was injured by terrorist gunfire directed at Kissufim along the Gaza border on Tuesday morning. He was protecting bulldozer operators working in the area. It appears he was targeted by northern Gaza sniper fire.
There is much confusion surrounding the condition of the victim, who appears to be in moderate-to-serious condition but this is unconfirmed at the time of this report. He was flown by helicopter to the trauma unit of Soroka Medical Center in Beersheva.
Elsewhere in the Greater Sderot Area, a 107mm Katyusha rocket landed near a Shar HaNegev Regional Council kibbutz, in the Western Negev. No injuries were reported. (Yechiel Spira – YWN Israel)
