Reports from Ynet stated the AVG antivirus software company’s website was taken down by “Palestinian hackers”. Numerous attempts to access the site were unsuccessful.

If this is indeed what occurred, it will not come as good news to the many users of AVG who feel their computer, tablet or smartphone are safe from malicious software.

Ynet’s report adds the hackers left the message “There is a state called Palestine that was stolen by the Zionists” on the AVG site.
