*Advocates for the mentally ill and disabled are decrying plans to require copayments from low-income New Jersey residents for prescription drugs and some emergency room visits. The advocates plan to visit the (Trenton) Statehouse today to tout research showing that copayments in other states hurt patients and limit access to prescription drugs.

*ESSEX, Md. — Baltimore County police are trying to find out who left a military ammunition box containing several pipe bombs and black powder in a wooded area in Essex. The box was found Sunday afternoon near Bird River Road by two men using metal detectors. Police say the men brought the box to the White Marsh precinct on Perry Hall Boulevard. A police bomb squad safely detonated the devices behind the station.
*PASADENA, Md.― A reminder to all parents – ensure your children are safe around a swimming pool. This after a child falls into a swimming pool in Anne Arundel County. Fire officials say they were called to Forest Glen Drive in Pasadena just before 8 a.m. Sunday. An off duty firefighter was already on the scene giving CPR to the two-year-old boy. He was rushed to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in full cardiac arrest.
*BALTIMORE — Baltimore police are investigating a double shooting in southwest Baltimore. Police said they were called to the 2900 block of Ellicott Drive shortly after noon on Sunday. Two men were found shot near that location, according to police.
