Israel Police Chief Dudi Cohen today decided to respond to rumors that senior police officials involved in the investigation against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert may have an agenda.

Cohen told the media that the investigators are all professionals, performing their task accordingly, without any agenda or ulterior motive, rejecting innuendos emanating from the Prime Minister’s Office that the investigation is tainted.

Cohen gave his team his total unconditional support, stating the investigation is at a critical stage and it will move forward as the team continues gathering and processing information in the case.
