Literally tens of thousands of people are lining the streets of Geula in the area of Yeshivat Porat Yosef as well as other areas along the levaya route before it begins. The pushing and shoving in the yeshiva area is becoming dangerous rough as Ichud Hatzalah reports its medics have already treated 12 patients, B”H all with only light injuries.

All vehicular routes heading into the capital are backed up and there are many interruptions in bus and light rail service in the capital as the levaya is about to begin.
