YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Reb Avrohom (Abe) Schwartzman Z”L, a longtime Talmid of the Mirrer Yeshiva. Reb Avrohom lived in Brooklyn, and later moved to Lakewood. Even after moving to Lakewood, he would travel to continue learning in the Yeshiva, until he R”L became ill and was no longer able to make the trip.
He was Zoche to learn B’chavrusa with Maran Hagon HaRav Shmuel Berenbaum ZATZAL for many years.
He was Niftar on Sunday evening at the age of 63. He leaves behind his wife and a beautiful Mishpacha of Bnei and Bnos Torah all following in his ways or Torah and Chessed which he was well known for.
The Levaya will taken place today (Monday) at 2:00PM in the Mirrer Yeshiva, on Ocean Parkway and Avenue R. The Kevura will be held in Eretz Yisroel.
