Israel Police has established a hotline phone number for motorists heading to the capital as well as Jerusalem residents. That number is already operating, 1-700-553-100.

Police are going to begin gradually closing down streets in and around the capital at 15:00. Police traffic officials add that both Highway 1, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway and Route 443, the Jerusalem-Modi’in Highway, will be bumper to bumper as tens of thousands of motorists will be heading to Yerushalayim to take part in the levaya.
