Few Americans have ever thought about giving up their U.S. citizenship, but nearly half think U.S. citizens should be able to be citizens of more than one country.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only nine percent (9 Percent) of U.S. citizens have considered giving up their American citizenship.

The national survey of 1,000 Adults was conducted on September 29-30, 2013 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95 Percent level of confidence.

Good riddance to both of you. This country does not need sunshine patriots. When you are a citizen you accept the good with the bad and vote for what you believe is best.
Dual citizenship is NOT an issue. I know of no American Olim who have had to give up their US citizenship in order to become Israeli citizens.
