The Supreme Court doesn’t actually ban abortions. That would still be up to the states. In fact, if restrictions imposed by conservatives states are upheld, liberal states will have an influx of people coming from other states for abortions. As for same sex marriage, there can be some federal ramifications, but states like New York and California aren’t going to ban gay marriage no matter what the Supreme Court says. If a state like Arkansas won’t allow gay marriage, then gay people from Arkansas will go to New York or California to get married.
