If you’re speculating that the wire was related to some kind of receiver on his body that relayed someone’s voice to a hidden earpiece, that sounds like 1980’s radio shack era technology. Also, if Biden was in fact wearing some kind of hidden device with a wire, wouldn’t someone think to put it under his shirt rather than over the front of his shirt where it could be seen if his jacket shifted. And also, a campaign with 500m on hand would probably spend the additional $20 to get the wireless version of whatever the device was.
