The gag order was lifted on the arrest of an IDF officer who is alleged to have stolen shoulder-held rockets and automatic weapons which were subsequently sold.

The Nazareth Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday lifted the gag order, permitting the publication of the report.

The officer, 24, explained to authorities he was compelled to steal the weapons after incurring heavy gambling debts.
