An Israeli motorist was injured lightly in rock-throwing attacks in Shomron during the night near Yishuv Rechalim.

09:10:

IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron during the night arrested ten suspects and confiscated two shotguns.

09:20:

A man fell into an elevator shaft in Metula. He sustained a serious head injury. A chopper was summoned for transportation to a trauma center.

09:44:

PA (Palestinian Authority) Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki stated the terror attacks claiming the lives of soldiers is not justification for Israel to evade ongoing negotiations.

In light of the fatal terror attacks, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon is convening an urgent high-level session to evaluate the current situation.

Gunfire was directed at IDF soldiers from Syria at around midnight. The soldiers stationed in the N. Golan Heights returned fire. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or injuries.

A 55-year-old male construction worker is in moderate condition after falling from the roof of a two-story building in Kochav Yair. MDA EMTs treated him and transported to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.
