APP:? Lakewood’s? annual “National Night Out Against Crime”, the traditional summer crime-prevention party is scheduled from 4 to 9 p.m. Aug. 1, according to the Lakewood Police Department.? Free entertainment and food will be provided. Kosher food also will be available.
Bicycle helmets will be given out free while supplies last, and bicycles will be raffled off to children ages 4 to 12. Free T-shirts also will be given out.
Antique cars will be displayed, and there will be a “Dunk a Cop” booth.
Lakewood Emergency Medical Services, Hatzolah rescue squad, the Lakewood Police Department’s Traffic and Safety Division and other agencies will attend.
Old cellular phones and chargers will be collected and donated to agencies such as Providence House, which provides services for domestic violence victims.
