3:30PM EST: An ambulance has just been involved in a serious MVA on the Garden State Parkway (south-bound) near MM 117. The ambulance was transporting an ALS patient to the hospital, and had MONOC Paramedics on board at the time of the crash.

At least three patients are reported to be ALS patients (serious injury), and one patient is in stable condition.

Additionally, YWN has learned that one of the patients is reported to be a BLS ambulance crew member who is currently unconsious – and being rushed to the Jersey Shore Trauma Center. It is unknown which township the ambulance is from.
