I know, I know. I came across it in earlier works. Maybe Horowitz or Eisenstein. I know again, do not care very much. The incognito model is acknowledged to have been in place, prior to tosafists. To what extent, and if this included Rashi using his own writings unassumingly is conjecture. I never bothered looking into it.
