While mispalalim were reciting Maariv on motzei Shabbos, a number of youths outside began throwing rocks at Haifa’s Chabad shul, apparently trying to hit the mispalalim who were reciting shmona esrei. One of the rocks smashed a window.
According to Yosef, one of the mispalalim, as soon as one of the mispalalim completed shmona esrei, he ran outside but was unable to apprehend the youths who were able to outrun him.
Police took statements from mispalalim as well as from an eyewitness who was in a nearby park. There were no injuries reported.
