The state is planning to turn to the Supreme Court against what the prosecutor views as too light a punishment.

Last month, after being convicted of bribery, fraud and other charges, he was sentenced by Jerusalem District Court Judge Yaakov Saban to 18 months in prison. The state was seeking a 7-year sentence and has since decided to appeal the sentence.
