Eretz Yisroel’s Gedolei Rabbonim Shlita has come out publicly against Augusts scheduled International Gay Pride Parade in the capital. Their? statement is publicized on billboards in Chareidi neighborhoods around Yerushalayim. Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlita, head of BADATZ? said this parade poses a real threat to the citizens of Israel,” while? Reb Chaim Kanievsky Shlita suggested holding the parade in Sodom. His metaphoric suggestion was backed by? Horav Ovadia Yosef Shlita. The leaflet quoted Maran Reb Elyashiv Shlita,? as saying This (parade) will not take place. We must do everything to banish this disgrace from the Holy city.

Kidei sheyishalu ha…
Ha Ha!!!
I believe the reason was the more you come out against it, the more they fight for it.The more they fight for it the more publicized it becomes. As in every controversy the more you fight the bigger it becomes… including how many people will attend the event. I dont fully understand it but I believe this is part of the answer.
Isn’t the Mayor frum? How can he let this Catastrophe?
I take back my last question. I just saw on Arutz 7 that the reshaim from the Supreme court will not let him cancel it.
