WATCH: Police Empty Large Crowd Out Of Zichron Moshe Shteiblich In Yerushalayim

On Sunday evening, a large police force was sent to the Geulah neighborhood of Yerushalayim in order to empty out the Zichron Moshe Shteiblich. The Shteiblich was reopened recently and was holding minyanim of dozens of people against the guidelines of the Health Ministry which says explicitly not to do so.

During the forced evacuation, the situation turned violent when numerous Charedi men refused to leave.

Bystanders called the police Nazis and screamed: “Nazis leave here now.” Three men who refused to leave the shul were arrested by police after attacking officers.

In a video capturing the incident, Yossel Gutfarb, a well-known personality in the Zichron Moshe Shteiblich, exchanged a few slaps with an officer who demanded that he leave the premises.

  1. The police are the bravest people who are risking their own lives to prevent illness and save others’ lives and people just don’t understand that. How can people call them such names and show no concern for each other, let alone the police who are trying really hard to protect them? PLEASE listen to the gedolei hador as well as to the medical professionals who are giving us rules, not for fun, but only for everyone’s benefit.

  2. why does it bother Zionists so much that the police are called nazis?
you think those arrogant, violent creeps, which they are, are so easily insulted?

  3. Religious people should follow regulations, and act respectfully towards police and not call them “Nazis”. On the other hand – “large crowd”? There were 5000 people shopping at the Malcha Mall this afternoon, in the same city of Jerusalem. 5000 people! Why wasn’t there a show of police force there as in Zichron Moshe where a dozen people were praying? Where were the policemen barking condescendingly at people four times their age “Get out, now! This minute!” Pointing in their face, pushing and shoving them?

  4. Obscene.
The use of the term Nazi by people that possibly descend from those that ran away successfully after leaving others behind. May they never know what Nazi really means.

  5. Man! What luck that the police show up right when Yossel is not wearing his plastic gloves, for the first time in 30 years!!!

  6. This YWN article is measleading (fake news). You will note from the 1st video, when the police entered the Shteiblich a boy is frightened and is eager to make his way out, however the police grabbed him and pushed him to the back preventing him to leave. He did not refused to leave the shul or attack officers. The other boy who was forced into the police car did attack officers, rather he seemed to be very polite and a eydl bucher.

  8. R’ Yossel Gutfarb did NOT exchange a few slaps with an officer, rather an officer slapped him and attacked him.

  9. maybe i will be wrong
but what group (it should not happen) if it happens do you think will see a 2nd surge when its been shown that 70% of the Jews in israel who acquired the virus were the Frum Jews
do you think these well meaning but not thinking Yidden are not culpable and might have a DIN RODEF the 2nd time if people die from the virus because they just went to DAVEN

“the spread of the virus is based on 2 factors
the 1st factor is how dense the population is
the 2nd factor is how dense the population is !!!!

  10. The Zionists teamed up with the Nazis, including Adolf Eichmann, to save their own while exterminating the rest. Calling the Yassam SS gestapo that is an accurate description.

  11. what a chilul Haschem again. They always make their one haloches.and the think
does chareidim they something special. They dont care, waht the gouverment says
but to get money they the first in the row.Not the police are nazis, they b ehave against the law and should be punished. always tell others what to do,but they dont keep the aws of the gouverment.

  12. Stop throwing around “Din Rodef”, it totally lost its meaning after Measles out brake hysteria! These Yiddin know what they are doing. They were all exposed to each other hundred times over. Kicking them out of the shul is just a show.
Can you imagine Hatzolah doing this type of raid? Why not???

  13. it is difficult for me to comprehend the stupidity of these frum machers. Hasn’t the charadi community seen so many gedolim and rabbonim die? Not to mention simple plain people too!

It is the crowding in tight places like shuls and beis medreshis that cause the spread of the virus.

Normally I can accept frum machers need to be frummer than the rest of us, but when it is a pikuach nefesh it is totally wrong to do this.

  14. MItzvah ha’bah b’averirah. Ironically, through their so-called acts of “davening” they are actually being oyver on chillul Hashem, redifeh and maybe even retzicha – so they are clearly not yotzei tefillah AT ALL.

  15. yesterday there was a hafgana of over 500 elal workers in front of the ministry of finance next to the kneset. all together no distancing. unbelievable!! no police at all
    thegreatfixer, Jeff Stuart
it should be noted that more people have been killed in car accidents last year then the great and almighty virus,
maybe he can expend his fury on all the irresponsible drivers

  16. I have placed an incantation against the police in the 2nd youtube on this article, who was threatening the old man in the Steibel:- There was non-one else in that room, so absolutely no need to cast him out, hence this policeman was an absolute בזיון and much times worst. Tragically for this lowlife bum police:- My incantation against him is Irrevocable.

  17. And on this very same web site there is an article about the government punishing teachers who (for fear of the virus and with detailed explanation to justify that fear) do not report for work (and not only that, and extremely out of character, the government is stamping and defying the union on the issue). Seems highly inconsistent of the government and one has to seriously ask what is the justification for such inconsistency.

  18. My first reaction: What’s wrong with these people? Don’t they realize that these officers are simply doing their jobs? For these peoples own benefit (regardless of inner intentions)? What benefit can be gained from constant confrontational behavior? Nazis?? Overkill?

2nd Reaction: I don’t live there. Don’t know/experience the dynamics. Not for me to have an opinion.

3rd reaction: I never see pictures/videos of Gerrer, Belz, Vizhnitz, Boyan, Slonim, Karlin Chassidim etc. etc. who DO live there acting this same way .

Conclusion: These people, possibly ‘well meaning’ notwithstanding, got a very skewed, messed-up Chinuch where Chillul Hashem is considered kiddush hashem.

  19. For those that think it’s appropriate to call others a “Nazi” should perhaps first meet a real Nazi so they really understand what that adjective means. Perhaps visiting Auschwitz and seeing the ashes on the ground, the ovens, the wood planks as beds, the barbed wire fences, the towers which once had gun-men supervising the fields. At that point you can sit with several survivors who lost their parents, grandparents, siblings, children, their shuls, their yeshivas, and businesses **AND** at the point you can inform those survivors why you call Israeli policemen a “Nazi”. You can inform those survivors why you call a US President “Trumkoph”

  20. the police like to bother the jews as much as they can. if this would have been tziyonim or goyim they would have said nothing. and if you see the woman police she is purposely touching people to get them angry. and at the end she takes a hat and treats it like nothing(for no reason obviously).

  21. Ok. I’m all for breaking up crowds and enforcing social distancing. BUT…

DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE HOW THE FIRST COP WALKS IN, ONE BACHUR SLIPS OUT, AND THE COP GRABS THE NEXT BACHUR HE SEES AND PINS HIM TO THE WALL? WHAT THE _______ IS THAT ABOUT?

DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THE FEMALE PIECE OF AMALGAMATED DOG DIGESTION SLAP/TOUCH PEOPLE AS THEY RAN OUT? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?

THE ARTICLE CONTENDS THAT A CHASHUVEH MAN “EXCHANGED SLAPS”, IMPLYING THAT HE FOUGHT WITH THE COP, THAT IS A LIE!!! HE PULLED HIS HANDS AWAY,AND, YES, SLAPPED AT THE COPS HANDS WHICH WERE GRABBING HIS CLOTHING!!! THATS EXCHANGED SLAPS?
    NNNAAAAAAZZZZZIIIIIII!!!!!! I SAY IT TOO!

  22. @REFOEL MOISHE, THE POLICE ARE BRAVE RISKING THEIR LIVES? WHAT A DIMWITTED COMMENT. THEIR YUNG AND THINK THEY ARE IMMUNE.
@shloimyB, BIG TALKER MACHO, GO READ PERFIDY BY BEN HECHT. THEN DECIDE WHO LEFT WHO BEHIND YOU THUG.

  23. Absolute chillul Hashem, and I mean those in the shule and some of the comments on here.

And for those screaming “Nazi,” may they be zoche never to experience what real Nazis are like.
