YWN resgrets to inform you of the Petira of Hagaon HaRav Shmuel Yisachar Rosengarten ZATZAL, He was 89.
The Niftar was a tremendous Marbitz Torah and served as the Rosh Yeshiva of the Belzer Yeshiva for decades, and a member of the Belzer BADATZ “K’hal Machzikei Hadas”. The NIftar collapsed suddenly in his home on Moztei Shabbos and was rushed to hospital where he was Niftar.

I lived in Mattersdorf many years ago and was a neighbor of R Rosengarten when he lived there. I am not a Belzer, but I want to tell you want a wonderful man he was. A talmud chachum who was so pleasant. He and his family had a very positive influence on my family and our raising of our kids.
May his memory be a blessing to all, and may his family continue in the very pleasant manner of R Rosengarten. BDE
