Hundreds In Tel Aviv Fined For Violating Directives While Quiet Reigned In Bnei Brak


A total of 1,705 fines were handed out by Israeli Police to residents throughout Israel in the past few days for violating Health Ministry regulations.

Tel Aviv district police handed out about 500 fines, including 250 in the city of Tel Aviv, a Channel 12 News report said.

The fines were given for gatherings of over two people, walking further than 100 meters from one’s home for non-essential purposes and violating quarantine.

Police praised Bnei Brak residents for strictly adhering to Health Ministry regulations over the past few days.
