Nancy Pelosi Keeps Names Of Kidnapped Soldiers Close To Her Heart

kidnapped soldiers.jpgPresident Shimon Peres met Sunday with US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who is currently in Israel in honor of its 60th Independence Day celebrations.

Heading a bipartisan delegation of 13 congressmen, Pelosi came to the meeting sporting three dog-tags etched with the names of Israeli MIA’s Ehud Goldwasser, Eldad Regev and kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

Pelosi stressed her commitment to their case, and said she intends on having the tags displayed in her Washington office. Pelosi met with Gilad’s father, Noam, last week, and has scheduled meetings with both the Goldwasser and Regev families.

  1. Look, if Nancy Pelosi should by some strange stretch of the imagination share in being a shaliach to effect their release, why complain?
Thank you, Ms. Pelosi, and may your involvement in this lead to positive involvement in other more worthy endeavors.

  2. I am still trying to figure out what she was doing in the Middle East anyway?! Its not like Congress has done anything worthwhile here that would make her deserve a vacation. For goodness sake, they have a worse “approval rating” than the President!
