Background: Rav Chaim Palagi writes in the name of the great Ramban (1194-1270) that saying the order in which the Jews traveled through the desert is so powerful that in a time of plague and epidemic, one who recites it every day etc. the plague will not affect his body nor enter his place of residence. The accepted order is the way Rav Shimshon of Ostropoli gave over. This is the way it is brought down in all the early Segula Sefarim. In this Sefer, it is translated and completely elucidated in English. With additions from later Mekubalim.
To clarify, this is not Rav Shimshon of Ostropoli’s well known, Erev Pesach Segula (called Maamar Sod Eztba Elokim), which itself, is a tremendous Segula (see Yeshiva World article, Rav Shimshon of Ostropoli’s Erev Pesach Segula). This is a different Segula. It is these two Segulos that Rav Shimshon of Ostropoli is famous for.
(Rav Shimshon of Ostropoli (1599-1648) was one of the greatest Kabbalist of his times. The Torah giants of his times and all subsequent generations had unparalleled words of praise for him.)
