Shas Party MK Yaakov Margi on Sunday morning told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) that he cannot say at present if the party prefers national elections or a change of prime minister with another candidate from Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s Kadima Party taking his place.
Magi stated that party leaders will read the political map and present the relevant facts to the Council of Torah Sages. The rabbinical body as in the past will render a decision and the lawmakers will act accordingly.
