I like this thread – don’t really care who started it or why. I believe people support Trump because:
He doesn’t bash America or Americans – he seems to like the country and care about its citizens and most of his policies and their effects reflect that
His policies up until the big deal have served Israel well
He’s blunt, funny, and although he lies like all politicians, it seems he believes his untruths, unlike politicians who don’t believe their own lies but demand that you believe their every lying utterance
If Democrats can convince Americans that they have better domestic and foreign policies that will benefit them financially, improve the economy even more, provide better trade deals and security – Well, speak up!
As far as character goes, he’s quite a character. Seriously, we look to our clergy, religious texts , and fellow members of our religion for lessons in morality. If you’ve read any of the biographies of past presidents, many if not most, were not very moral in their personal lives. It is a shameful reality.
