Prisoner Arrested for Threatening PM Netanyahu

bibnA 22-year-old prisoner serving a sentence in a minimum security facility has been (re)arrested while in jail. Officials report that the prisoner sent a threatening letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu because of the cabinet plan to release terrorists as talks resume with the PA (Palestinian Authority). The prisoner is serving time for price tag crimes.

In a somewhat bizarre move, tens of police were sent to Hadarim Prison to make the arrest. The suspect was to be remanded on Thursday, 16 Elul 5773 and he will then be taken to higher security prison.

Officials add that it appears the suspect planned to attack police when they came for him, adding undisclosed homemade weapons were found in his cell.
