Borough of Naugatick with a brand new Yeshiva
The Borough of Woodmont (part of the City of Milford) with a shul dating back to the 1920s, formerly a summer shul, now a year round Chabad shul
Other boroughs include Fenwick in Old Saybrook at the confluence of the CT River and Long Island Sound. Actress Katharine Hepburn lived there on the point. Stonington, Litchfield, Bantam and 3 others. Most are waterfront (lakes or coastal) and may also be consolidated with a town of the same name,
For our British CR members in Gilbert ans Sullivan’s HMS Pinnafore, Sir Joseph Porter (First Lord of the Admiralty) sings a song which includes the line:
