MK (Yisrael Beitenu) Yisrael Lieberman, who chairs the Knesset Foreign Affairs & Defense Committee, stated that Israel is not involved in any way in the fighting that continues in Egypt. Lieberman denied media reports that Israel has been assisting government forces against the Islamic Brotherhood.
Lieberman was referring to a report appearing in the New York Times over the weekend quoting senior Egyptian officials who spoke of Israeli commitments to persuade the American not to hold back military and financial aid as the government fights opposition forces.
“We are not involved. This is the case not only in Egypt but in Syria and Lebanon too. They are trying to drag us into the issue but we have no business there. We are standing by the side and we must continue to do and monitor the events while being ready to act if the need arises. We mustn’t become involved in any internal battle taking place around us” stated Lieberman.

and if Israel was involved do byou think LIEberman would say?
I certainly hope we’re not involved as whoever is involved is definitely making a grand old mess of everything now aren’t they?
but obama is involved since he threw Murbarak under the bus. And know Saudia and other Mideast controls are backing the
military while obama is ducking on the golf course. he seems to be pro Muslim brotherhood.
