The heads of the Otzma Yehudit party, attorney Itamar Ben-Gvir, Baruch Marzel, Bentzi Gupstein and director, Yitzchak Wesserlof, met on Monday night with the posek and spiritual director of the party, HaRav Dov Lior. The meeting was held in the rav’s Jerusalem home and he was briefed on current events vis-à-vis the election and the party, primarily ongoing efforts to unite ahead of elections with other right-wing parties.
The rav was apprised of a number of possible scenarios, including primaries for a large united right-wing list. Rav Lior gave them a bracha and strengthened their efforts for the hashkafa the party represents; one that is concerned with Eretz Yisrael, Am Yisrael and Toras Yisrael.
