BDS Operatives Urge Chicago-Area Muslims to Boycott Israeli Dates

isbAmerican Muslims for Palestine recently launched a campaign urging Chicago-based shoppers to boycott Israeli fruit companies, and in particular dates grown by Israeli farmers. Dates are traditionally eaten by Muslims to break the Ramadan fast. According to anti-Israel extremists, the call for boycotting Israeli dates is a “matter of awareness.

In the Muslim faith, justice is tantamount. It’s a main tenet of our faith. It’s a peaceful way to get Israel to comply with international law because settlements are illegal and occupation is illegal. By not buying products, we hit Israel in the pocketbook and effect change that way.”

A Muslim manager of a Shop & Save noted that his store “sells a steady stream of dates throughout the holy month” and that he didn’t “see the point of selling a product customers tell him they won’t buy.”

  1. “In the Muslim faith, justice is tantamount.”

Right, except when applied to non-Muslims, particularly Jews. Then, in the Muslim faith, murder is tantamount.
