A dramatic afternoon occurred in the halls of Jerusalem’s City Council when United Hatzalah volunteers and Magen David Adom ambulance teams were dispatched to the offices of Deputy Mayor Yisroel Kellerman who was feeling ill.
Over the course of the day, Kellerman went about his business as usual and participated in meetings and tours. During the afternoon he began to feel ill and emergency medical services were called to assist.
Kellerman was taken to Shaare Tzedek medical center for comprehensive checkups and will remain under observation in the hospital until tomorrow.
Jerusalem Mayor, Moshe Lion is currently abroad, but nevertheless contacted his deputy and inquired about his condition. Kellerman told Kikar HaShabbat News Site the following: “I wish to thank all those who are concerned over my well being. With God’s grace, I feel better.”
