Yisrael Beitenu party chairman, MK Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday afternoon spoke with Israel Radio Reshet Bet. Regarding coalition negotiations, Lieberman feels the current argument is who will serve as prime minister first and not about indictments against Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. “What are we arguing about? Who is first and who is second? When are the rotations? What about the many guarantees? If the leaders do not believe one another how can they expect Israelis to believe in them?”
Lieberman feels “Blue & White can believe promises made by PM Netanyahu, along with a long list of guarantees and if not, the party does not truly want a national unity government. It is all excuses. Give Israel the opportunity to bypass this madness as we see elections on the horizon.”
When asked about giving parliamentary immunity from criminal prosecution to PM Netanyahu, Lieberman responded, “If his party recommends this then he will relate to it, but I hope this will not occur.”
