Improved Rocket Slammed into Ashkelon on Monday AM

The two Kassam rockets fired from northern Gaza on Monday morning were described as improved models, serving as proof that Hamas continues to work towards developing increasingly deadly rockets with the potential to travel longer distances.

The first rocket on Monday morning landed in the yard of a private home in the center of the city, resulting in significant damage. One woman was treated for hysteria. The location of the impact was also close to an elementary school but it was before students began arriving. The attack occurred at 7AM.

The second rocket landed in an open area in the southern industrial area of the city. There were no injuries.
