Both Minister of Finance Yair Lapid and Minister of Transportation Yisrael Katz were on hand on Sunday, 28 Menachem Av 5773, taking part in the launching of the new Ashdod-Tel Aviv express train service.

The cabinet ministers were in Ashdod for the event, taking a ride on the new train line which promises the ride between the cities will not be more than 45 minutes, providing a long-awaited service for residents of Ashdod.
