A 22-year-old resident of Silwan is in custody Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) reports. The suspect is believed responsible for a number of recent stabbing attacks in Jerusalem in which Jews and an Arab male were injured.

Police tie the suspect to the stabbing attack of a 52-year-old male in Bloomfield Park in the capital. According to the report, the attacker then fled the scene and stabbed a chareidi male near Shar Shechem and then an Arab male in the same area.

Police report that while they are uncertain of the alleged attacker’s motive, they do believe the attacks were not terror in nature.
