An elderly man was tragically killed after he fell from a third floor of a building in haifa, Monday morning.

MDA and United Hatzalah responded to the call for a man down on Monday morning, on Yalag Street in Haifa. When they arrived on the scene, they found a 70-year-old man, who was R”L dead after falling from the third floor.

The preliminary evidence from the scene according to police indicates he was working on the roof and he lost his balance and fell to the ground below.

United Hatzalah EMT Shloimi Feder who was one of the first responders at the scene said: “According to neighbors in the building the man lost his balance while on the roof of the building and fell. As a result, he was found without signs of life. Unfortunately, there was nothing for us to do in the field to help him. Paramedics who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead on the scene.”

Police forensic technicians gathered evidence from the scene as a probe has been launched to rule out foul play.
